Nina Posted October 31, 2003 Share Posted October 31, 2003 Should this be attached to live rock or just placed in the sand? I have stuck mine into a divit in my LR. (no glue) hoping that it in time will attach. Also is DT's enough to feed thease guys with? Link to comment
kennerd Posted October 31, 2003 Share Posted October 31, 2003 Should be. they are not photsynthetic, so off to the side, in a cave, etc. is a good location. Give it moderate flow. Best bet for attaching them is to take a razor or knife and remove the flesh from the base, so that the core is exposed, otherwise the flesh will die off, it will loosen up in the hole, and worse, the necrosis may continue up the stalk.
