I've got a question regarding the compatibility of clown gobies with certain species of fish: Is it advisable to put a clown goby together with a dwarf hawkfish in a 29G reef? I've read that clown gobies get along well with juvenile hawkfish as they might share the same coral branch that they're perched on. I've also read that clown gobies have a toxic mucous. Would that be enough to deter other fish from bothering it? Besides, my dwarf hawk's mouth is too small to swallow a clown goby. Link to comment
