tsalter Posted October 24, 2003 Share Posted October 24, 2003 Here is my new 5.5. It has been setup for a week with fully cured live rock, water change water from the 65 and sd/ls. No cycle to speak of. It is going to be a quarantine tank for small fish as well as a softy tank. Here are some shots of my diy hood. It was a pretty easy build but the coner miters require a table/miter saw. It has 2 19w curly's wired in parallel and it is waiting for a 13w actinic. so far it raises the tank temp 2 degrees over the photoperiod. Link to comment
