Infiniti
i have a 10g with the CSL 2x40w. my aquascaping is that i have some caves. my clown always stay under the shades. even when i feed him, he'll eat then runs back under the shade. is the light too bright? Link to comment
mattie
the lights are not too bright most likely the clown just feels safer under the rocks. maybe there is another fish in the tank which may makes him shy or he has made a little nest area which the clown wants to stay close to unless there is something chasing him away and he eats and swims fine don't worry Link to comment

2D_Todd
How long have you had the Clown? My maroon clown used to hang out behind a rock at only one side of the aquarium for about the first 2 months I had him. Since then he has gotten more bold and swims infront where people can see him.
