BlkGto
Hi guys, My friend just picked up a 10G long Tru Vu and asked me for lighting suggestions. I took a look a the tank and I got the following measurements: Tank: 24"x8"x12" Light fixture: 18.5"x2"x2" (comes empty) I looked online but couldn't find a retrofit kit that would work w/ that size light fixture. So... I think the only way to make this thing work is to build a canopy and install the 55W SmartLite retrofit kit. The retrofit kit is 23" long so it would basically span over the entire tank. What do you guys think? Is it still going to be too long? Or what other options are there. She isn't interested in keeping anything too difficult like SPS. Most likely just some shrooms, zoos, polyps, and a few stony corals. Link to comment
