grandmasterr
My digital camera is not working, so I apologize for not posting a picture. I have a greenish gray flat creature in my nanoreef. It is about 1" long and 1/2" wide and has pronounced ridges down its back. It crawls over the rocks and hides during the day. I have never seen it on the sand or the glass. Several days ago I saw it in a crevice and it was shooting out a dark cloudy substance. I have seen it do this several times, ,but have never observed any detrimental effects on my tank. I also have 1 clown, 1 damsel, several hermits, and an anemone in this tank that seem to be doing fine. Does anyone have suggestions of what this might be? I have heard that sea apples can emit toxins into the water, but this looks nothing like a sea apple. Also, it has no antenna/filter type protrusions from its head. Thanks in advance! Link to comment
Acoustic
It is probably a nudibranch or a polyycheate worm releasing love juice into your tank. It should be fine. Link to comment
