You dont really have to, water stays fresh and clear with it in on weekends. or at least put it in if water smells funky or gets cloudy. I am a noob two, so I hope some others chime in with otherwise, or agree with me Link to comment
Reefer_Buddha Posted October 17, 2003 Share Posted October 17, 2003 its not bad to run carbon. Its also good to add it when adding new corals as they can get "slimey" and the carbon cleans it up. It will also give the water a cleaner look. Link to comment
