Tsiklop
I am going to conver 12g freshwater tank to a nano-reef. The problem : I was using Seachem plant fertilizer ( Flourish , contains 0.0001% Copper ) in this tank. Need your help : is it safe to use this tank, and how to clean it ? Thanks for your help. tinyreef
get a copper test kit and you'll know for sure. Poly-Filters should be able to remove it slowly if you have any. or just get another tank go on, get another tank. reefing never hurt anybody. all your friends are doing it. you wanna be cool don't you? get another tank. go on. do it. Jennifer
Tskilop, IME, if your gut is telling you to be concerned...heed the gut. You want to start out right, minimize the risks. Link to comment
SeaMountain
Grab up a 10g for maybe $10.00 or so... Sure as Hell beats a copper-killing experience. And less expensive as well... Link to comment
