caja Posted October 17, 2003 Share Posted October 17, 2003 It really depends on the tank itself. Is it a 20 H or 20 L? All corals have different requirements for water movement, even the softies. As far as how many you can put in there, take a look through the members tank forum. We nano reef keepers tend to push the envelope when it comes to how many we can stuff into our tiny tanks. You'd be amazed, but it takes some knowledge of each coral's requirements for room and lighting and so forth. I would recommend you purchase a good reef keeping book, maybe Tullocks Natural Reef Aquarium and also a good coral book. An excellent choice there would be Borneman's Aquarium corals. Reading and researching and a ton of patience are the keys to a successful nano. Welcome to NR and good luck! Link to comment
