nanoty
Sooooo, my 40 breeder is currently blowing through about 8g a week of top off water. Not really a huge problem but I would prefer one less thing to worry about on it. I was thinking about drilling my sump for a float valve and running my RO line from the laundry room through the attic and into the sump but I found this ATO from BRS an it seems like a sound setup. It has a normal float switch as well as an electric one for redundancy. You can also run it on a timer to only allow it to fill once or twice a day instead of constantly filling small amounts and adding wear to your membrane. The only question I have is running the line. My house puts out about 55psi into the RO and I would be running a line up the wall into the ceiling (about 7 feet up) across the attic (30 feet) and down to the tank. I ran my parents RO line the same way to the extra fridge in their garage and there is plenty of pressure but does anyone see a problem running an ATO line like this? I know, huge ass post of one question. Tend to ramble. Link to comment
MSU Fan
That run should be fine for that pressure. Link to comment
