I normally go away on the weekends and for 2 -3 days no problem, but what is the longest anyone here has left their fish without food??? do they start eating the worms and critters in the tank if food is not provided? or die? not that I want to do that, just wondering... Dingo Posted October 16, 2003 Share Posted October 16, 2003 It depends upon the fish. IME Damsels and clowns can go 3-4 days without any long term effects. Grazing fish, like tangs, need frequent food or you end up screwing up thier stomachs. Link to comment
