mineko012
This is probably a stupid question. I've been searching the forums but I can't find any specific information on red banded snails. I have two in my 12 gal jbj nano cube. I'm wondering what they do other than clean off the brown algae, if they're safe for the tank or will they end up eating/killing things that they're not supposed to? I know that some snails are rather carnivorous (bumble bee), but are the red banded snails okay or should I trade them for some other type of snail? I'll be picking up some narc snails eventually as well. Thanks and please have patience with me I'm somewhat of a noob ... Z. Link to comment
caja
From what I've found online, they are excellent film algae eaters and completely reef safe. Link to comment
