Siejuban Posted October 13, 2003 Share Posted October 13, 2003 I am working on converting my AC 300 into a refug, but I don't have extra piece of rock that can put in the container (my LR is 2 whole big piece of rock). If I just put LS in the refug, will that be fine? I am thinking to purchase small pieces of LR from LFS, but worry it will 're-cycling' again, is that safe to seed the rock in this way? Reefer_Buddha Posted October 16, 2003 Share Posted October 16, 2003 The only time you need to worry about live rock starting a cycle again is if its uncured. I see no problem adding it if its cured rock. You might see a small spike from a little die off but no worries. Link to comment
