I was thinking of putting in chemipure elite and ..... not sure what else I could use in it. any thoughts? to much flow? I am looking for alot of flow so I do not have to use any powerheads. any down sides to using this filter? thank you Link to comment
evilc66 Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 XP1 is only 250gph (at best), and not really enough flow for a reef setup. You would need at least double that, depending on what you want for livestock. Until you are familiar with what you and your livestock are comfortable with flow wise, you might want to just accept the fact that you will probably need a powerhead or two. Link to comment
