NanoBound Posted October 13, 2003 Share Posted October 13, 2003 I have a yellow Porites which only opens up when the lights are out or the blue 03 are only on. My understanding was that SPS like strong light and current. Well i have the current on it and I am running only 250watt on my 55gl. Any ideas or insite into this particular coral? Oh, it's still showing signs of new growth appearring as light green around the edges. I am dosing w/ reef complete and water parameters are great. For those concerned, it came on my live rock and I do wish to trade it in the future for some shrooms. It is on a rock the size of a softball, at least 2"-3 1/2" around the rock on all sides.
