anhpeter
My 3.5 gallon tank has a bunch of zoas, and some bloom fully while others don't bloom at all. Why is this? I do 10% water changes every week. My tank specs are a AC20, rio90, 50watt heater (78 temp). My ammonia, nitrate, nitrite are at 0, my salinity is 1.025, ph is 8.2. If there is anything wrong that I have can you please let me know. Also are there certain supplements i should add? like calicum, mag, etc? What do i have to keep doing to maintain a healthly environment for my tank? Link to comment

SmittyCoco
Stability is key ! Ph swings and salinity swings are detremintal to zoanthids in picos. Also what is your dkh/calc, mag? Link to comment
cuboy
some just close for no apparent reason. I have a batch of zoas, for some reason half is closed while the other half is open for a week or two. Then it switches. Very odd, but it happens. Just make sure you have plenty of light and don't mess with it. Link to comment
