audi206rs4
i have a 10 gallon with 2X36w combo pc's and a tank that turns-over water about 20-25 times an hour from 4 different sources. my question is... i want to go the LPS route in terms of corals and i've been reading that they require lower light levels and medium water flow. is the water flow in my tank too much for LPS? is the lighting okay? and i've been reading that LPS likes to be in the substrate...? is that true? any help would be great! 10 gal. w/2x36 jbj combo pc and 17 lbs. each of LR and LS 2.5 gal. fuge w/18w jbj combo pc and 1 lb. each of LR and LS w/macro AQ150 for flow and mech. filtration only (rinsed weekly) Azoo mini HOB w/1-1/2 inch LS w/ macro Maxi-Jet1200 pumping water from 2.5 up about 12 inches and split 2 ways into the 10. birdman204
it depends, if your water velocity is high, ( the speed it leaves the source) it may be, If the flow is high, but the velocity is low, i.e. larger output head... Then there shouldn't be a prob. hth Link to comment
