IMO, Power compacts will not penetrate well in a tank this size...and even if they do, you will need alot of them...making halide a better alternative. Less bulbs to replace. More verasatility. Better lighting. I would say a 250watt e-ballast and horizontal PFO pendant would be ideal with a bulb around 14,000K, maybe 20,000K if you want more blue. Link to comment
