Eco Mod of Maxi Jet 1200 in 15g tank

Today I put this modified pump in my 15g tank. Good Grief! To me this looks like too much flow. I am thinking now that I should have used either a MJ600 or even a MJ400.

 

Opinions?

 

I do like the Eco Mod unit. It really does a great job. And it is incredibly easy to install.

Nice kit, but far too much flow for that size tank, unless you are running bare bottom sps. Even with the smaller MJs, you will still be pushing 1000+ gph. The Sureflow version of this kit pushes 1300gph on an MJ400. I think a Koralia 1 would be better suited.
