? about Epoxy for foam reef

I used Z-poxy from my local hobby store, but it wasn't labeled finishing resin. I also used great planes epoxy on the foam to seal and give me something for the sand to stick too. Does it matter between finishing resin and epoxy? I just wanted to post this question before i put the background into the tank tomorrow.
