Itzgana Posted October 8, 2003 Share Posted October 8, 2003 Hello, I am currently running a 70w 10000K MH light 3-42 over the surface, Cooling is not a problem as i run two built in fans when the light comes on. other than the heat issue could i cause any other problems. Itzgana Posted October 9, 2003 Author Share Posted October 9, 2003 Thanks, The 70W light is the primary light but i hve also two actinic tubes 20w (i think) It is all set on timers so when the mh comes on, the two fans (100mm) come on at 15min intervals. As for the UV protection the only glass over the light is the one that came with it (also acts as a splash guard) but unsure if it gives any UV filtration. I will have a look at the small kite mark on it . I will post some pics of the hood tomorrow. Thanks folks Itzgana Link to comment
