MrConclusion Posted October 9, 2003 Share Posted October 9, 2003 They start to lose output after about 6 months, and afte a year they're pretty low output compared to new. So figure 6 months if you want no problems, or up to a year if you're trying to save money. But watch out for nuisance algae growth increasing... that's a sign that the bulb needs replacing.
