Skimmer for 24g JBJ

I want to put a skimmer in the first chamber of my 24g JBJ Nano Cube.

 

I'm mostly interested in the Euro Reef NS 2.5-1, but I want to consider all my options before I get anything.

 

My criteria are:

 

Must fit in the first chamber without mods to the hood/tank.

 

Must be quiet. (The tank is right next to my couch)

 

Obviously, it must work fairly well too.

I use a Oceanic Protein Skimmer in the 2nd chamber and it works great. Pretty quiet to considering the air pump can be placed in your cabinet.

That doesn't fit under the hood, and frankly you're one of the only people I've ever seen say good things about it.

 

I just dropped the $$ on a Sapphire skimmer for my JBJ 24G DX, no review but I'm stoked just waiting!

It does fit under the hood in the 2nd (didn't see it must be in 1st) chamber, and works perfectly (with some minor adjusting) with a cup a skimmate a day. Let me know how your Saphhire skimmer works becuase I have only tried the Oceanic.
