LiQuiD Posted October 6, 2003 Share Posted October 6, 2003 Go to Radio Shack and pick up one of the low-end multimeters that they have (I believe it is around $15). You can then test to see if there is any current coming from the ballast. If no current is leaving the ballast, test your power cord. If both are good, the bulb would be bad. Trust me, the multimeter is well worth the money in the long run. I had the same problem and didn't know if it was the bulb or the ballast. The meter helped me determine that the WPI had blown out.
