I think i flushed my RO unit today?

I have the coralife 24GPD ro unit. I need to flush, and all I did was hook the Blue hose to where the red hose normally plugs in and vise versa.

 

Is this right? It doesnt seem like its doing anything except the good water is coming out of a red hose instead of a blue one

Hi there. I have the same unit, and yeah, those instructions don't make much sense.

 

What kind of TDS reading are you getting out of it? How long have you used it?

To flush an RO unit, you need to bypass the flow restrictor.
