New/Old Remora Nano Installed

Man the bubbles the bubbles, "My BUBBLES!".

 

Thanks to douhboy from NCNRS I picked it up last night and thanks for waiting up for me!

I had to get a 1/2" male to barb connector and some hose to get the pump into the 2nd chamber. After all that finagaling I'm getting bubbles. I put a piece of foam under the return to stop the water from pooring into the back, but I think it only helps very little. I had my hands in the tank for a bit adjusting my Koralias, but after a little while I think I'm seeing some foam get to the top of the tube now for some actual skimming! This skimmer is a bit loud. I did the paper towel trick and it's amazing how much it actually quites it down. Now you can barely notice it over the fans from the lights.

 

I'm tempted to go to tap plastics and have them custom make me some sort of bubble trap.

 

If anyone has already made such a device I'd love to see it. Any suggestions are most welcome as always.
