bagoegg Posted February 20, 2009 Share Posted February 20, 2009 I had a Mighty Mite and it was time to replace the filters so I decided to get a Typhoon 3 instead. This unit is freaking awesome! I went with the 100 GPD membrane so it kicks out water twice as fast as the MM. It has a back flow valve to clean out the membrane. It also has a DI bypass to make drinking water. Plus its just so much cooler looking than the MM. Its nice to be able to see the filters. If you are looking for an RO/DI unit, spend the extra money and get the Typhoon 3 over the MM.
