shrimphombre
Okay so I FINALLY found that the cause of my microbubbles was from the exit piping (tank to sump). In order to alleviate the problem, I placed a filter sock to keep bubbles from forming in the sump from the exit piping. All was good, but I did something to my skimmer. I don't know If I messed it up or if adding a filter sock changes things, but now the stand pipe in my octopus nw-110 is just EXPLODING with bubbles and my entire tank is a frothy mix with my skimmer on. What could have caused this? Any input is appreciated. Link to comment
shrimphombre
Well one of the rubber housings that was holding the impeller fell out of place. I gutted the pump, cleaned everything and put it back together and after a few minutes its fixed. Thanks for all the help guys! I never thought I'd say this but...... I have just gotten rid of my microbubbles. My life is complete. Link to comment
