livingword26
Just setting up my 20 gallon long. I installed my modified AC110 today and I was getting a little nervous about it hanging, so I made a little T-stand to support it. Is this a good idea? Also, I like the flow this puts in my tank, I have heard that you need to reduce the flow for the cheato, is this really necessary, or can I run it at higher speeds. Thanks. Link to comment
UncleLuke
Anybody? T brace not needed, yes you can run it at full speed, make sure you have good light on the chaeto. Link to comment
bagoegg
Full speed!! I dont think you need the brace either. If your worried wedge a piece of wood between the tank and the filter and as far up as you can go. Made me feel more secure about my AC70. Link to comment
Needreefunds
I ran 2 AC110's on the back of my 20L prop tank, both were full throttle ( no pump mods that is ) I did cut back the flow some with the provided flow adjustments. Chaeto did very well. HTH Link to comment
