Bikelock
I just added a 5 gal sump/fuge to my 5 gal bow front last night. I am using a U-tube and a mini-jet for a return. It is kinda ghetto right now. But, i needed it for a new addition to the tank might set it into overdive. I am just scared about the small amount of water. I have heard the expression several times now, "Dillution is the Solution to Pollution" so I have doubled the amount of water in my system. A. Is it ok to do this with out the addition of more LR? B. Does anyone know what size overflow I need? The one I DIY'd is a complete falure. Or, can you drill a tank that has inhabitants in it already, it is only acrylic. C. Should I leave the HOB on or take it off? D. Any body with a better idea let me know. Link to comment

MrKrispy
Read some of the other posts, I have one that mentions the HOB things. I would throw some LR rubble in there, and some macro of course. I use mine to store LR rubble that I will want in the future to glue frags to. I can't help with the overflow, mine uses an overflow to return the water to the tank... Link to comment
