heavy
So here's my dilemma. My grocery store has either RO "or" DI water... Not RO/DI water. So here's the question (and thank god there is a beginners thread for me to put this in). Should I use RO water or DI water? Or does RO/DI simply mean just that RO "or" DI??? Thanks in advance for your help. Link to comment
tinyreef
and thank god there is a beginners thread for me to put this in hmmm, maybe we have been too rough on bendiafish or whatever his name is. ro/di is both processes. ro first and then di (i believe to conserve the resins of the di beds). i would think di is purer than just ro. when i'm overseas they use di units on some really skanky water. :x they would never use ro-only as it doesn't clean it enough, so they tell me. then again, i only use distilled. Thank you for your advanced, but not really an actual answer to my question tinyreef. Does anyone know for a fact which is better to use? RO or DI? Thanks again... Link to comment
audi206rs4
di is better... deionizers (di) are used to filter out what the (ro) membrane didn't, so assume di is better water, imo. di water is basically ro/di... there ya go... Link to comment
