audi206rs4 Posted October 1, 2003 Share Posted October 1, 2003 i love it! what do you think of an elegance coral... i have a 10 gallon with 72 watts of 50/50 pc lighting, 18 lbs. of lr and 13 lbs. of ls, a 2.5 gallon fuge with lr,ls,two forms of macro and an 18 watt combo pc on it. i just have a clean-up crew right now. tank has been up and running for a good 2 months now, all parameters are great (0 amm, 0, trite, 2 trates, 8.2 ph). i actually just read that the sting of an elegance coral will kill the beast aiptasia on contact. any people with experience with the elegance coral wanna spill any f.y.i. for me? thanks!!! Crakeur Posted October 1, 2003 Share Posted October 1, 2003 I used to take my elegance and zap the aiptasia. loads of fun. that said, avoid the elegance. they don't live very long in captivity. What used to be called a beginner coral has been rethought. Not sure if it is disease or what but they don't survive in captivity like they supposedly used to. (mine live 8 months then died for no reason) Link to comment
