AC 300 as a refug

I remember I read from somewhere in this forum, someone had shown picture how he turn a AC 300 into a refug, but I can't find the thread again using search. Anyway, can someone here with a AC 300 converted into refug, give me some suggestion? I will change the AC 300 impeller with a Mini Impeller that I currently have, will that be enough flow? I don't have small trunk of LR, but I can put LS from my tank into the AC 300. BTW, if I just put Macro algae in the AC 300, can that be fine?
