Rocket Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 So I have a slight problem. I have the AquaC Urchin with maxi-jet 1200. The skimmer won't produce drier skim mate. Now before you say raise the cup. Well I can't! No more cup left!!! The skimmer has been doing this for over a week now. Had similar problem with the 42 hex but I managed to get it adjusted just at the very edge of the cup. Open to suggestions. Most likely I'll need to downgrade the MJ to a 900 but I'd rather not buy another pump. Link to comment
Sergeant-G Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 mine tends to skim dry at times and wet at others. honestly the skimmate you have dosent look that bad, mine is alittle darker but not much. I need to get another band for the cup so I can raise it up and try to get a darker skimmate but for now its not that bad. Honestly if you wanted too you could downgrade the pump to a MJ 900 and really they arent expensive I can buy one at my LFS for about 25 dollars Link to comment
