jread
Hello there I already have my stand and lighting system, I am just unsure about which size tank I want. The 10 and the 15h have the same footprint so I could still use all my same stuff. The reason I was thinking of the 15 is because it's 50% more water as well as a larger viewing area. However, the surface area isn't any more than the 10 gallon, and the light has farther to travel to reach the bottom (which may be a bad thing). I've got a CSL 2x40W Powercompact/Moon-Lite hood. Also plan on using an AquaClear 300 as a refugium. Opinions? Link to comment
killrblue
I say 10g cause you have the light issue. I think the majority on this hobby is having enough light for our corals. The more of it the better. Link to comment
tinyreef
jr, nice dog, your wife's? i vote 15H. it's easier to upgrade your lights than your tank. (the lights are a little low for a 15H imo. i run 4x30W vho on my current nano is a 15H and it looks huge to people. nice viewing area and more possible configurations with the aquascape. it's a 'big tank look' with a nano soul. (well, borderline nano imo ) Link to comment
