phinfan78 Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 Hi, Can anyone tell me why my skimmer doesnt seem to be producing a brownish tea color fluid in the cup? I dont have alot of bioload as far as corals yet and have only had the skimmer up and running a few weeks, and have had to tinker with it latley to get the proper setting. Not sure if it should be producing more tea color than it is? Seems to be pretty clear. Any help appreciated ~Thanks Phin Link to comment
Rome Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 Do you have any fish in the tank?? If you dont have much of a bio load and your doing weekly water changes you probably dont have anything to skim. Link to comment

Thanks, I do have 5 fish in my 34 g solana. two oscellaris clowns 1 yellow goby, one firefish, and a cherub angel. Not much in corals just some polyps and shrooms and zenias right now.
