eggroll1502 Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 I was contemplating purchasing a tunze 9002 for my 24g aquapod and was wondering if anyone out there has this skimmer in their 24g and if so how do you like it and do u still run floss i the chamber even though the skimmer takes up so much space Link to comment
quy_nquyen Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 I really like the skimmer (the break in period really scared me though) it works well. im sure you can use floss if you wanted to, just place it under the skimmer. right now im growing chaeto under the skimmer. You can also wedge floss between the skimmer and where the water rushes in. I also added a picture for reference. This is how much skimmage i get overnight Link to comment
