It used to grow long, leggy branches, until I moved it into a tank with a flame angel (since removed) which nipped at it constantly. In natural defense, it began growing very closely spaced branches to protect the polyps better. Link to comment

kennerd Posted October 3, 2003 Share Posted October 3, 2003 about 2 years from a single branch frag. The colony in the pic is about 6" across at the base now.Like all monti digs (particularly under halides) they grow like weeds. I have fragged it dozens of times. Realized the color doesn't look right in the pic I posted, but the pics are on the computer in my other office. Will post monday, including progressive pics. Link to comment
