sd75i_bnsf
I just got a semi-used JEBO 180 hang on skimmer and got it hooked up. I'm not sure if its just this one or if they're all like this one. When I pluged it in, it became very noisy. It sounds like it can't get an equal balance of air and water to it. Plus it's releasing alot of micro bubbles back into the aquarium. Will the bubbles be bad once I put something living in it. If it is does anyone know of a way to fix the skimmer or should I plan on buying a better skimmer. Thanks Ryan Link to comment
ELGORDOINAVW
if i'm not mistaken the jebo is a knock off of the prizm skimmer, and the prizm is notorious for creating alot of micro bubbles and noise. just wait it out til it breaks in, also what size tank is it on? you should probably just ship it to me... sd75i_bnsf
I have it on a 20 gallon long. I have talked to acouple of other people and they have said the same thing. One guy found 10 gallons of water on the floor from his. I think I might just up grade to a CPR bakpak for my tank. Link to comment
