This will not work. This is for drinking water and removes impurities that make the water taste bad. It works like a Britta or any other water filter. If you test this water you are going to find a lot of trace minerals and tds. Both are good for the human body but will wreak havoc on your tank. I am a novice when it comes to reefing, but i know know water quality. try getting a cheap RO/DI unit. Air, Water, & Ice sells the mighty mite for under $100. I just got one and it works great. (since this is the second time i am promoting the mighty mite today i just want to say that i love mine and no, i dont work for them ) Link to comment
