static69static Posted September 26, 2003 Share Posted September 26, 2003 I think I'm going to try and retrofit the CSL 2x32 watt retro kit unit into the JBJ hood on my nano cube. I was wondering if anyone has this and can post pictures and exact dimensions of this unit. Including light end to socket end and reflector measurements. I was also wondering if it is setup like the smartlite retro 1x32, in which the ballast is on the power cord, a ways away from the kit, so it can be kept outside the aquarium? bobioden Posted September 27, 2003 Share Posted September 27, 2003 Hi, The size is 14 long, 7 wide, and 2 1/2 deep. The ballast is remote. Each bulb has it's own cord and on/off switch on the ballast. Great for setting dusk/dawn with a 10k and actinic. It also has rubberized endcaps. I have it on a 12gal Eclipse. Here is a pic of it.
