frozenapple
Well I have my 65 gallon reef I set up about a month ago and I am planning on keeping some sps. Now I would like to know more about calcium reactors, I am pretty clueless to how they work and the need for Co2. Any information would help. Also if you have any CR's you would like to recommend for a 65 that would help a lot too! Thanks Link to comment
tike
I am currently using the coral life calcium reactor on a 60 gallon cube. I have had it for 2 years now and it does a good job for the price. Never had any issues with it at all. As for setting up a ca reactor look HERE. Link to comment
kgehrke
Basic idea is that C02 breaks down the calcium media (old coral) which adds all the right chemicals to the water. Calcium, alkalinity, and sometimes magnesium. They need to be tweaked until they're giving you the appropriate amounts. They can also lower your PH. Link to comment
