Jake42393 Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 Im going to set up a 15gallon Long asap i was wondering if i should get the Oceanic Biocube Protein Skimmer.. i know im not getting the "BioCube" but would it be a good choice to get it? i want something cheap.. or should i just not get it? its 40 dollars Link to comment

koraltek Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 utter and total crap, dont bother... if your looking for cheap, i'd get the bubble magus tiny in tank skimmer, it comes with a mj-1200 with pinwheel and decent venturi, i think they are like $60 on fleabay Link to comment
Burks Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 The Bubble Magus is $65 plus $40 for shipping. Check locally for used skimmers. I'm sure you can find something. Even the lowly ProClear does better than the Biocube skimmer (with some simple mods of course). Link to comment
