jun_18T Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 hi there everyone.... a month and a half ago i setup my first tank which is a BC29 with stock everything except for a chemipure elite and purigen. i have a couple of false precs and a cleaner shrimp right now along with a zoa colony and one branching daisy frag. few days ago i've put a CPR SR3 skimmer in my 2nd chamber. it started skimming some last night but not those dark stuff yet. today, it stopped skimming and could not get it to form that foamy bubbles again. my question is.....is this normal??? does it take time for it to start working properly like a break in period??? thanks!
