johnmaloney
Most of us have the standard copepods, and the Gammarid amphipods, but do you have Caprellid Amphipods? Here is a good article on them: http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-09/rs/index.htm http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchpods.html Anyway, it is on some brown Gracilaria that is kind of ugly, (the algae is) so we will give you enough to seed your refugium with these guys when you the order the one penny algae sample, just leave us a note in the comments field. My seahorse and pipefish love them, as does my fry puffer. Look like little stick figures, very different. Link to comment
johnmaloney
Have you seen them before lakswha is person? Cool little things, they walk on two legs, have two arms a head and two antennae. If anything fit the alien description in the ID forum, this is it. Almost tossed al the brown grac., (this particular stuff is ugly), when is saw them scurrying about for their lives. Great timing too to get a large amount of them, they are very easy to feed because the cling to the macro in the refugium, then you just place it in the display, the seahorse knows it is time to eat, cleans it up and 10 minutes or so later I put it back in the refugium.
