sayn3ver
so i tried to get this answered in another thread with no luck. I want to build a shallow tank but want to use a tunze 9002 in the tank (no sump). What is the minium water height needed by the tunze 9002 to operate properly? Link to comment
StevieT
It is 13" tall, with about an inch out of the water. So give yourself 12" to be safe Link to comment

nanoskim
booo...i wanted a tank 6-8inch deep. o well time to revise plan. We have a nano skimmer which will function in 6.5" of water. It will stick out about 5" above the water line. You can check it out at our website www.euro-reef.com, it will be the NS2.5-1. Hope we can help you out. Regards, nanoskim Link to comment
