When I dropped mine into tank, they immediately hide in the sand, when I clean the tank wall, they smell, and all move out from the sand and head to the tank wall. And when they are hiding in the sand, a small tube from the shell will hang above the sand too. That is how my snails behave in the tank. Link to comment

And then a few of them will climb the glass. Get up to the top. Tthen jump backwards and fall to the bottom yelling' "WHEEEeeeeeeeee!!!" all the way down. Link to comment
