kickyourbrainintheface Posted September 22, 2003 Share Posted September 22, 2003 i removed my skilter last night to clean it. it's the via aqua skilter/skimmer with built in uv (which i don't use). once i got it outside i was looking into it, it's kinda see-through, i could see a host of mysis and amphipods happily swimming through all chambers. i actually poured the water in there through a brine shrimp net so i could drop some of em back in........anyone care? kickyourbrainintheface Posted September 22, 2003 Author Share Posted September 22, 2003 no actually i'm not. they are definitely shrimp like though, i constantly see their molts whatever they are, they are of course in the main display too, my seahorse always tries to eats them ,and prob. does. they are extremely quick and seem to match some pics i've seen online. the larger ones are about the length of my fingernail maybe a tad longer. i feel about 90% sure they're mysids Link to comment
