SoS Posted September 20, 2003 Share Posted September 20, 2003 I shut down my nano-reef a while back but since this is the only reef related site I frequent I thought I'd post a few pics of my 55 and show some the progress over the months. Not too many changes to the tank recently its pretty full. I've just been letting it grow. lets see back in Feb 2003 day2: June 2003 Today Sep 20th 2003... The back is really starting to fill in with the coralline algae. My latest addition Pink Zoanthids Orange Zooanthids i fraged. In a few months they will spread and cover the whole arch The Left Half of the tank The Right Half of the tank Thought I'd add a few pics of the Spinach can otherwise known as my 5 gallon HOB Refugium. Look how clean it once was. Its not spinach its long and short feather Caulpera Macroaglae which acts as a great natural filter for removing nitrates, phos and sili from a reef tank. Great place to hide the heater too. Link to comment
