StuGotz
Hey guys.. I'm adding lights to my wood canopy and was wondering if anyone knows of a reflective material i can use behind my lights. All I kind find are mirrors and galvenized sheet metal. I thought i might find something reflective at the Home Depot, but to no avail! None of the LFS have any materials either (Edited by StuGotz at 10:43 am on Aug. 23, 2001) Link to comment
rhinoivory
Just for fact, I will tell you that white is a much better reflector than any metal surface, a metal surface will ABSORB light. I would either go with painting the canopy white or adding mirrors and keeping either option really clean. Link to comment
ODOG
A cheap solution is the back of a mylar balloon. Link to comment
StuGotz
Thanks guys. I actually fit all three lights with reflectors that came with in my canopy. I should remove them and paint the underside white. But as it is now... I need sunglasses to sit at my desk right next to it Link to comment
Korova
Hey Stu, just to add my $.02, I paint the inside of my canopies with "Gloss White" it has always worked well... Link to comment
